How does SkillDrift make a learning plan from your resume?
Five steps, from your resume to a skill you can prove.
- 01
Upload your resume and pick a target
A target role, a career path or a job description you paste in.
- 02
See your skill gaps
Each gap is named and ordered by how much it adds to your readiness for the role.
- 03
Build the roadmap for one gap
Pick the track (technical, functional or executive), the level (basic, intermediate or advanced) and your hours, from two to four a week up to full time.
- 04
Pass a short knowledge check
Each sprint ends with a check. Finish the roadmap and the SkillDrift certificate is added to your resume under Certifications.
- 05
Watch your scores move
Once the skill is verified, your readiness and every job that asks for that skill rise by the amount shown before you started.
Does the plan change when the job market changes?
Your gaps are measured against live job postings for your role, so the next gap follows what employers ask for.
- Each gap shows how many jobs ask for it, for example 3 of 12 Senior Maintenance Engineer jobs.
- When a role has few listings, SkillDrift also reads nearby roles in the same field and tells you so.
- Close this gap turns any of them into a learning roadmap.
- A skill you already have can be added as proof, and it counts as met for that job.
Is the plan the same for everyone?
No two plans start from the same place. Each one starts from your resume and the role you chose, so two people aiming at the same role get different gaps, in a different order.
The roadmap is then set to the track, level and hours you pick. It is built only for a gap that learning can close: years of experience or a degree come with time, so SkillDrift does not sell a course for them.
What does a learning plan cost?
